500 — King playing card panel
500 — Bicycle billiard lamp lit

Stained Glass

500

3′ × 1′ × 9″  ·  2026  ·  Two Parts

A pool-table billiard lamp built in the style of the Bicycle playing card brand. Suspended on chains, the trapezoidal shade blazes in deep crimson and gold when lit. Part one features the King panel — a full-figure portrait of a playing card monarch executed in richly saturated glass with bold black leading.

Part two completes the lamp shade: the Bicycle wordmark and classic card-back pattern reproduced entirely in glass, glowing like a neon sign when the bulb is on.

6-6-6 — glowing geometric stained glass tower sculpture
6-6-6 — tower sculpture in gallery at night

Stained Glass

6-6-6

2′ × 2′ × 6″  ·  2026

A freestanding illuminated sculpture: stacked and cantilevered glass boxes in red, magenta, and gold that glow from within. The form is deliberately architectural — a tower that implies something built and precarious at once. In a darkened gallery the piece throws light across the floor in warm pools of amber and rose.

Light Rain — hexagonal hanging chandelier
Light Rain — stained glass umbrella panel

Stained Glass

Light Rain

2′ × 2′ × 9″  ·  2025

A two-part work exploring the same theme from two directions: a hexagonal hanging chandelier with cobalt and crimson geometry, and a suspended umbrella panel — its handle dangling below, its canopy alive with color. Rain as light. Light as rain.

Old Main — stained glass window panel of Gustavus Adolphus College
Old Main — Gustavus Adolphus College reference

Stained Glass

Old Main

24″ × 18″  ·  2025

A window-hung panel depicting Old Main at Gustavus Adolphus College in spring — the clock tower framed by flowering pink trees, the green lawn below. The image is rendered with architectural precision, the brick and stonework suggested through careful glass selection and leading, the blossoms as soft bursts of rose-pink against an open sky.

Metamorphosis — golden butterfly suncatcher close-up
Metamorphosis — butterfly suncatcher in window

Stained Glass

Metamorphosis

30″ × 12″  ·  2025

A large wingspan suncatcher in warm amber, honey, and russet glass — a moth or butterfly caught mid-flight and frozen in light. Hung in a window, the glass shifts from gold to deep orange as the sun moves, making the piece a living thing that changes with the day.

Inspiration — warm Tiffany-style lamp shade

Stained Glass

Inspiration

3′ × 1′ × 9″  ·  2025

A mission-style hanging lamp shade in warm honey, caramel, and amber glass — geometric and grounded, a direct reference to the Arts & Crafts tradition that gave birth to Tiffany Studios. Under low light it glows like a lantern from another era.

Self Reflection — stained glass panel in window
Self Reflection — detail study

Stained Glass

Self Reflection

36″ × 24″  ·  2025

A bold abstract portrait rendered in jewel-toned glass — emerald, sapphire, amber, and ruby — fractured into planes of color the way a mirror breaks a face into angles. The lead came acts as line, drawing the composition together while the glass does what glass does best: transforms light into something it was not before.
